Dude, that rocks! There's a lot to love, but my favourite parts are the "voices in my head" with eveyone hearing voices in their heads, and the part where Luke is falling down the shaft and the music is going down, down down. . .
Awesome!
I think I said my blog was mom-safe, but it isn't anymore. Just a heads up in case you try to show her there's no porn there. :-P
Is there a lot of dinking around involved in getting the original movie sound over the music in certain places? I really like how you let the lightsabers and some of the other sound come through in only certain places.
It's all a matter of fading in and out of the two audio tracks. The music was set at a constant level throughout. Up until the Yoda line, where I needed to fade it down a bit to hear Luke's line. The rest of the "movie sounds" are sprinkled in where I felt that it went well with the music/visuals. I really like the lightsaber part too. That sequence was my favorite part to edit. :)

Haha. I saw that post of yours and it's pretty safe I suppose. :P
Thanks for the comments about this vid. I was just experimenting with sound and visuals.
Too safe? ^_^

One of the best songs of our generation, I think.
And that vid is way cool, Polly. Just out of curiosity, what computer do you use?
Very cool.
Thanks PDD! I use a PC with Premiere 6.0.
Still waiting for the price to drop a bit more before I make the switch to a Mac editing system. Not in a hurry to though.
Yes, I am a tad conflicted with owning a pc and wanting to acquire a mac.
What shall I do?
Well you already have the ipod. So why not make Jobs richer?
Awesome! I need to play with our Premiere. So far only MuNKi has used it.
